Long View portrays the lifelong dream of Kansas City millionaire Robert A Long, one of the wealthiest lumber barons in the country. The 51 buildings of Longview Farm, built from 1913-1915 and situated on 1,700 acres of land, were described as “the most beautiful farm in the world.” Longview Community College now resides on 146 acres that were donated by the Long heirs.
