The P. Buckley Moss Museum
The P. Buckley Moss Museum, located in Waynesboro in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, houses a collection of P. Buckley Moss artworks spanning the artist's entire life. This 18,000 square foot building offers resources, exhibitions and programs that examine the artist's cultural and environmental heritage. Through the study of the art and its sources, the talent of this artist can be put in greater perspective and the public can share more fully in her exhilerating vision.The P. Buckley Moss Museum is located in Waynesboro, Virginia, just south of I-64/Exit 94 on U.S. 340 (P. Buckley Moss Drive or Stuarts Draft Highway). To locate the Museum from I-81 or from I-64: go to Exit 94 on I-64 (this Exit is approximately 8 miles east of the intersection of I-64 & I-81 or 23 miles west of Charlottesville's city limits).
At I-64/Exit 94 go south 1/2 mile on P. Buckley Moss Drive (U.S. 340/Stuarts Draft Highway). The Moss Museum is on the east (mountain) side of the highway. The Museum has a large parking lot.
The Moss Museum is also accessible from U.S. 340 north and south and from U.S. 250 east and west (it is approximately 3 miles south on 340 of the west-Waynesboro intersection of 250 and 340).
