Pat will be at her home, The Barn, to meet her collectors and personalize prints all three days, 11 am to 5 pm each day. You are invited to bring two previously purchased Moss prints or paintings to the Museum for personalization. In addition, all prints or paintings that are purchased at the Museum shop during these two days can be personalized.
The Park will be released during the Barn show, July 10-12, 2009.The Park depicts Gypsy Hill Park located in historic Staunton, Virginia. There are many facilities on the 241 acre park, including a golf course, football and baseball stadiums, a gym, several playgrounds, an armory and Lake Tams. The bandstand is the summer home to the all-volunteer Stonewall Brigade Band, the nation's oldest continuous community band.
Pat's delightful rendering of the Staunton park features the duck pond (Lake Hutchens) and the historic Gypsy Express mini-train, which appears in the background. Also included are Pat's iconic Canada geeese.
Established Moss collectors can credit Museum purchases to their local Moss gallery with a letter of introduction from the gallery.
Guided tours of the Museum are available during the Open House. Admission is free.
